Data and purposes
- Accounts: email address, username and protected credentials, to authenticate users and manage access.
- Bookings and sessions: identifiers, times and activity needed to allocate and protect telescope control.
- Collaboration: name, email, contribution and message, to assess and respond to your proposal.
- Marketing communications: email address and consent evidence, only when you select the optional choice during registration.
- Security: technical logs necessary to prevent abuse, investigate errors and protect the service.
- Advertising: only when enabled and supported by valid consent management.
Legal basis
Account, booking and session data are processed to provide the service you request. Collaboration proposals and commercial communications are processed with the consent given for each purpose. Technical security relies on the legitimate interest in protecting the service. Non-essential advertising requires consent where applicable law requires it.
Retention
Data are kept only as long as needed for each purpose and, afterwards, for any period required to meet legal obligations. Evidence of marketing consent and its withdrawal may be retained as necessary to demonstrate the choice made. Unsuccessful proposals should be deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
Recipients and transfers
Hosting, database, email, security, video streaming or advertising providers may process data under their applicable terms and safeguards. Personal data are not sold. Where a provider processes data outside your country, the safeguards required by applicable law must apply.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or another competent supervisory authority.
Automated decisions
Safety controls may prevent an operation to protect equipment. They are not used to make decisions with legal effects on you.
